Plans & storage quota

Goal: understand FrameCourier's plan tiers, how your storage quota is calculated, and how to add extra storage without changing plans.

Prerequisites

  • None to view your usage — but only an admin can change plans or buy add-on storage (see Billing).

The plan tiers

Every company is on exactly one plan, which sets a base storage quota shared by all of that company's galleries and video collections:

PlanStorage
Free3 GB
Starter100 GB
Pro500 GB
Studio2000 GB
Storage is shared across your whole company — it isn't split up per team member or per client. Every photo and video your company stores counts against the same quota, whichever user uploaded it.

Add-on storage

If your plan's base quota isn't enough, you can add extra storage in 10 GB blocks on top of your current plan, rather than moving up to the next tier. Add-on blocks stack with your plan's base storage to make up your total quota. See Billing for how to buy one.

An add-on block is often the cheaper option if you're only slightly over quota — you don't need to jump a whole tier just to fit a bit more media.

Checking your usage

Your current usage against your quota is shown as a percentage and a meter on the Billing & Plan page, and broken down per client on the Disk Usage page. A warning banner also appears across the admin area once usage reaches 80% of quota, and again (as a blocking notice) once it reaches 100%.
