The company dashboard
Goal: get familiar with the admin sidebar, the topbar, and the storage banner so you can find your way around before you add clients or upload anything.
The sidebar
Every company user sees the same core navigation on the left:
- Dashboard — your home screen after logging in.
- Clients — add, edit, and manage the clients you deliver to.
- Photos — create and manage photo galleries.
- Videos — create and manage video collections.
- Releases — manage model releases and permissions.
- Projects — if you've turned the feature on, groups a client's galleries, videos, and releases into named projects. See What are Projects.
- Queue — watch background jobs (thumbnails, watermarking, zipping) run in real time.
If you're an admin (as opposed to a regular team member), you'll also see:
- Team Members — manage the other company users on your account.
- Tools — administrative utilities.
- Settings — company-wide configuration.
Below the main links, Take the Tour replays the guided onboarding tour at any time, and Logout ends your session.
The topbar
The bar across the top of every admin page shows the current page title on the left, with a search input next to it. Type any keyword to search across all your galleries and collections — a live dropdown shows matching results as you type. Press Enter for the full search page with filters. See Unified media search for details.
On the right you'll find:
- A notification bell with an unread count badge. Clicking it opens a panel of your most recent notifications with a link to mark them all read or view the full notifications page.
- Your account menu (avatar or initials + name). It opens a dropdown with Profile, and for company users also Settings, Billing, Disk Usage, Referrals, and Help & Docs, followed by Logout.
The storage quota banner
When your company's storage usage reaches 80% of its plan quota, a banner appears above the page content warning you that storage is running low. If usage reaches 100%, the banner switches to a full-storage warning and new uploads are blocked until you free up space or upgrade. Either way, the banner links straight to Billing to upgrade or buy more storage.
Your tasks due soon
If the Tasks feature is on and you have open tasks assigned to you that are due within two days or already overdue, a heads-up box appears near the top of the dashboard, just under the stat cards. It lists up to five of those tasks — each linking straight to the task — with a “view all” link when there are more, and the heading calls out whether anything is overdue. The box is hidden entirely when Tasks is off or you have nothing coming due.
Choosing what appears
Admins can tailor the dashboard from Settings → Dashboard. The switches there control visibility only — where each section sits and how it's ordered is fixed for now. Changes apply to every company user's dashboard, not just your own.
Sections
Three toggles hide or show the recent-activity card rows — on the Home tab when a tab is enabled, or stacked directly otherwise. Projects hides the Recent Projects row (that row only appears in the first place when the Projects feature is on), Galleries hides the Recent Galleries row, and Videos hides the Recently Uploaded Videos row. Turning one off doesn't delete anything — the projects, galleries, and videos are still reachable from their own sidebar links.
Tabs
When either toggle is on, the recent-activity rows move onto a Home tab and the dashboard gains a tab bar. Activity Timeline adds a single merged feed of everything happening across your projects — updates, comments, and tasks — and only takes effect when the Projects feature is enabled. Client News adds a tab listing the most recent news headline for each client you monitor; see Client News monitoring for how to switch that on per client. Both tabs are off by default; with neither on, the dashboard has no tabs and the recent-activity rows simply stack.
