Storage full / quota

Goal: understand the low-storage banner, why an upload was rejected, and how to get back under quota.

Symptom: a warning banner appears at the top of the admin area

Cause

Once your company's total storage usage reaches 80% of its plan quota, a banner appears on every admin page reading "You're running low on storage (X% used)." At 100% usage the banner switches to "Storage is full — new uploads are blocked."

Fix

  1. Click the banner's link to go to Billing to upgrade or buy add-on storage, or go to Disk Usage to see which clients or galleries are using the most space.
  2. Delete media you no longer need — old galleries, collections, or individual photos/videos.
  3. If you don't want to delete anything, either move up a plan tier or buy a 10 GB add-on storage block from Billing.

Symptom: an upload is rejected with a storage message

Cause

Once usage reaches 100% of quota, new uploads are rejected outright with a message telling you to upgrade your plan or buy more storage — the file simply won't be accepted until you're back under quota.

Fix

  1. Free up space by deleting existing photos, videos, galleries, or collections you no longer need (see Disk Usage to find the biggest ones).
  2. Or increase your quota — upgrade to a larger plan, or add a 10 GB add-on block from Billing.
  3. Once usage drops back below 100%, retry the upload.
Storage is shared across your whole company, not split per team member or client — every photo and video counts against the same quota no matter who uploaded it.
An add-on storage block is often cheaper than jumping a whole plan tier if you're only slightly over quota.
