Create a collection
Goal: start a new video collection for a client, or one owned by your company directly, so you have somewhere to upload videos.
Prerequisites
- Any company user (admin or team member) can create a collection — this isn't restricted to admins.
- You don't need a client yet: a collection can be company-owned and assigned to a client later from the same form.
- From the sidebar, go to Videos, which opens the Video Collections list.
- Click New Collection in the top-right corner.
- Fill in the Collection Name (required).
- Choose a Client from the dropdown, or leave it on — Company-owned — if this collection doesn't belong to a specific client.
- Optionally add a Description, comma-separated Tags, and comma-separated Keywords — these help you search and filter your collections later.
- Click Create Collection.
The new collection starts empty and unpublished (marked Draft) — clients can't see it until you upload videos and publish it.
From the collections list you can switch between a list view and a grid view (with cover-video
thumbnails), search by name, and filter by client — your view preference is remembered. A collection's
card also shows a badge with its count of unresolved comments, if any.
