Ask Milo (AI video chat)
Goal: chat with Milo, FrameCourier's AI assistant, about a specific video — ask what it covers, pull up quotes, or check what feedback clients have already left, without re-watching the whole thing.
About Milo: Milo is the multipurpose AI assistant built by
WeDoVids, LLC. Ask Milo is one of many
places Milo powers the platform — for the full picture of what Milo can do, see
milo.wedovids.com.
Prerequisites
- No subtitles or client data are strictly required — Milo will say so if a question can't be answered from what's available — but answers are far more useful once the video has a transcript.
How it works
Milo is grounded only in the following context for the video you're viewing:
- The client's business summary — if the collection belongs to a client with an AI-generated business summary.
- The video's subtitle transcript — if one has been uploaded or auto-generated.
- The video's review comments — every timestamped comment left on any version of the video, including who left it and whether it's resolved.
Milo answers using only that context and will say so honestly if a question can't be answered from it, rather than guessing.
Responses stream in as Milo generates them, and are rendered as formatted text (headings, lists,
code, links) rather than plain text.
Using Ask Milo
- Open the video from Videos → [Collection] → [video].
- Click the Ask Milo tab below the player.
- Type a question — e.g. "What is the main topic of this video?" or "Summarize the key moments for a client recap." — and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line).
- Continue the conversation; earlier turns are sent back as context so follow-up questions work naturally.
The conversation isn't saved — it resets when you leave or reload the page.
Admin only
Ask Milo appears on the admin video detail page only; there is no chat tab on the client-facing video view.
