Client activity log
Goal: see when clients (and anyone using a share link) actually view or download the galleries and videos you've delivered.
Where to find it
From the sidebar, go to Client Activity. Every company user can view it — it isn't restricted to admins.
What gets logged
Two kinds of events, across both galleries and videos:
- Views — opening a gallery, a video collection, or an individual video.
- Downloads — downloading a single photo, a single video, or a gallery's "Download All" zip.
Each row records when it happened, who did it (a named client-user, or Guest for an anonymous shortlink visitor), which client it belongs to, which gallery/collection/video, the visitor's IP address, and their browser/device string. A small link icon marks events that came in through a shortlink rather than a normal portal login.
Engagement summary
At the top of the page, a summary card shows total events and downloads over the last 7 days compared to the 7 days before that (with a percentage trend), plus your busiest day this week. It's a quick pulse check before you dig into individual rows.
Filtering and paging
Narrow the table by Client, Event type, and a From/ To date range, then click Filter. Click Reset to clear all filters. Results are paginated 50 rows at a time.
Purging the log
- Click Purge Activity Log near the top of the page.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box to enable the button.
- Confirm to permanently delete every logged event for your company.
Related: viewing as a client
To see a gallery or collection exactly the way a specific client does — without it counting as their activity — use View as Client from the Clients list. See Add, edit & delete clients.
